Intro
With spring, exhibitions are popping up in car museums around the world. The themes are very varied, brands, sport, society and art are on the program! The Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena changes a very large part of the collection on display to focus on the brand’s unique models over the decades, as well as on famous engines. Ferrari is also in the spotlight with the new exhibition of the National Automobile Museum – Loh Collection (Ewersbach, Germany) while the Matra Museum (France) makes its 2024 exhibition to Italian production. Focus on Style and Design at l’Aventure Peugeot (Sochaux, France) and on the Citroën CX which celebrates its 50th anniversary at the Lorraine Automobile Museum (near Nancy, France), while the Musée National de L’Automobile – Collection Schlumpf (Mulhouse, France) hosts a selection from the collection of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco. The Cité Rétro Mécanique Maurice Dufresne (France) reopens its doors for the 2024 season with a varied program of activities and will participate in particular in the JNVE (National Day of Vintage Vehicles) of the FFVE, while CadyCars (Belgium) renews its Open Doors weekend operation. In the United States, the Corvette Museum (USA) hosts a major exhibition of hyper-realistic paintings on the theme of cars and motorcycles, and the Savoy Museum highlights women racing drivers in cooperation with the WINMA association. Well, it’s not an exhibition, but I thought it would be interesting to talk about M@RS, the public digital database set up by Mercedes Benz Classics, an incredible mine of information about the brand with the star.

A new museum in a new country this month, with the referencing of the Auto Museum Via Baltica in Estonia, which presents an interesting collection of Soviet-era cars little known in the rest of the world, but also some nuggets from Europe and the United States.
