Intro
The end of the year is approaching, but car museums continue to offer us interesting events. In Belgium, Autoworld concludes the Porsche anniversary year with a major exhibition that I will come back to in detail (and in pictures), see below Visit of the month. In Mulhouse, the National Museum plays the card of the unusual with Silence, on rouille, which mixes photos of cars abandoned in nature and cars that have never been restored and taken out of its reserves. Another artistic approach is the influence of Art Deco on European cars at the Savoy Museum (Georgia, USA), while the Audrain Museum (Newport, USA) focuses on some technical and aesthetic milestones from the 1950s to the present day. At Le Mans, we remain in the spirit of the Centenary exhibition, with the return of the winning Ferrari 499P in June, while the Peugeot Adventure Museum has planned some great activities for the Christmas holidays… And I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season!

Work in progress on the site with files of several museums updated and enriched with many photos: the Grand Atelier (Châtellerault, France), Le Mans 24 Hours Museum, Auto Sport Museum (France), Mercedes-Benz (Stuttgart, Germany), autobau (Switzerland). For the latter, a link to a short video made with a drone flying over the collection. Spectacular!
Visit of the month
This month, a detailed and visual tour of the Porsche exhibition “Driven by Dreams” set up by Autowold Brussels to close Porsche’s anniversary year: prototypes, concepts, production, sport and racing, the exhibition explores all the facets of the manufacturer and is almost a Porsche museum!
