The Matra Museum still on English time

Matra Museum, Romorantin, France

Extension until March 10, 2024

For its annual exhibition, the Matra Museum had switched to English time. As the exhibition was a great success, the museum has decided to extend it throughout the winter, until March 10, 2024. A few cars will leave the premises and be reunited with their owners, but others will join the exhibition.

Among those which stay, visitors will find the Aston Martin DB2 (on display in a convertible version!), the Jaguar XK120, the Daimler SP250, a McLaren M6-GT that escaped from the racetrack and the prestigious Rolls Royce Phantom I from 1928. Among the newcomers are a 1959 Austin Healey 3000, with a polished aluminium body, the iconic Jaguar E-Type, 2 Lotus including a 1956 Eleven S1 Club, 2 Morgans with a Plus 4 and a Three-Wheeler, a 1961 Sunbeam Alpine and a 1949 Triumph 2000 roadster.

So, even if you visited the museum and the exhibition in the spring or summer, the visit will be largely unprecedented, especially since we can’t get enough of the other cars and concept cars on display, not to mention the unforgettable engine gallery.
