Kid’s workshop “Building of a solar car”
3rd Wednesday of the month
The Cité Rétro-Mécanique is getting into the era of renewable energies! Every 3rd Wednesday of the month, starting on Wednesday, April 19, the pedagogical team of the Cité Rétro-Mécanique offers children a 1-hour workshop in which their mission will be to build a small cardboard and solar car. At the end of the workshop, small race cars on the program. Open to children from 6 to 10 years old, with a participation of 8 € / child
National Day of Vintage Vehicles

The Cité Rétro-Mécanique Maurice Dufresne will participate in the National Day of Vintage Vehicles, organized by the FFVE (French Federation of Vintage Vehicles) on Sunday, April 30, 2023. In this context, a 2-hour guided tour of the Museum’s collections will be offered for anyone with an entrance ticket and within the limit of available places. In addition, a preferential rate will be granted to FFVE members on presentation of their card. Meeting at 10:30 am, reservation recommended.
Giant Cluedo at the Maurice Dufresne Museum

Museum Road Trip
Saturday, May 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Take out your vintage, youngtimers or sports car and join in the Roadtrip of the Museum on the beautiful roads of Ridellois and surroundings. (Possibility to rent a vehicle if necessary). Welcome coffee, Walk, Unusual stopover and visit, Aperitif & meal, Free visit of the collections.

As part of the Night of Museums, exceptional opening of the Maurice Dufresne Museum reserve: be part of the privileged ones who will have 15 minutes per group of 15 people to go around this reserve closed for 30 years…

Guided tour of the museum + Dynamic demonstration
1st Friday of the month
Every 1st Friday of the month at 10:30 am enjoy a 2-hour guided tour offered with dynamic demonstration at the end of the visit. Guided tour offered, subject to availability, for anyone with a classic entrance ticket at no extra charge.
European Days of Mills & Millery Heritage
Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 May 11am
The Maurice Dufresne Museum, nestled in the heart of the Moulin de Marnay, a water mill still in operation, offers you a 1-hour guided tour dedicated to the mechanisms and history of this place.
Meeting at 11am. This guided tour will be offered free of charge to anyone with an entrance ticket.
