Intro
It is still time to wish you a happy and prosperous 2026, filled with discoveries and encounters around our passion for automobiles (but not only).
The year is off to a strong start with several shows, including Rétromobile, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary! Read on for more information about an exciting program, featuring themed exhibitions and an increasing number of manufacturers bringing their treasures out of their museums and reserves. More shows are listed in the dedicated section at the end of this newsletter.
There is good news to share at the start of the year, with several museums announcing record attendance figures for 2025, notably the National Automobile Museum – Schlumpf Collection in Mulhouse (France) with nearly 280,000 visitors, and Autoworld Brussels (Belgium) with 245,000 visitors. The 24 Hours of Le Mans Museum also enjoyed strong attendance with nearly 170,000 visitors, despite being closed since July while the museum undergoes renovation and expansion, replaced by a temporary exhibition structure.
Speaking of exhibitions, you will discover several in this newsletter. The history of Mercedes at Autoworld, miniature cars at the National Automobile Museum (Mulhouse), Ferrari and Shelby at the Savoy Automobile Museum (Cartersville, Georgia, USA)… Museums are beginning to unveil their rich and varied programs for 2026. Next Show
Several shows are coming soon, starting with Retromobile, which will open its doors next week, alongside a brand new show, Ultimate Supercar Garage, dedicated, as its name suggests, to supercars. Then, from February 20 to 22, Retro Galicia will take place in Vigo, Spain.
