Intro
Here is the October 2023 Automobile Museums newsletter, with a visit to the Horacio Pagani Museum near Modena. Pagani is a supercar manufacturer that has acquired an exceptional reputation in just a few years, thanks to the quality and sophistication of its cars, almost works of art! For once, it’s also about art in this Newsletter, with 2 art exhibitions related to automobile. In London, the annual Art of Motoring exhibition, and in Paris, a tribute by the Sakura Gallery to the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911. Anniversaries also with the Aventure Peugeot (France), which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Peugeot 306, and a look back at the meeting of the Citroën Conservatory for the anniversary of the presentation of the 2CV, on October 7, 1948. Continuing to explore all facets of the automobile, the Savoy Automobile Museum (Georgia, USA) opens a new temporary exhibition on Monster Trucks with Bigfoot 4×4, inventor of the formula. Finally, 2 major shows to come for classic car enthusiasts with Auto e Moto d’epoca in Bologna (Italy) at the end of October and Epoquauto in Lyon (France) in November.
