Epoqu’auto

Eurexpo Lyon, France

November 10-12, 2023

With 800 exhibitors and 80,000 m² of exhibition space, including 7000 m² of themed platforms, Epoqu’auto 2023 promises to be an edition not to be missed. The show attracted more than 84,000 visitors in 2022, and the organizers (the 3A, a volunteer association) expect good progress given the varied and prestigious program put together.

Among the thematic areas, 3 manufacturers are in the spotlight with Peugeot, Talbot and Cadillac. The 750 m² Peugeot stand will allow visitors to travel through the history of the brand, from the Vis-à-vis Type 3 of 1891 to a 604 “Presidential” saloon from 1985. Several convertibles will be on display, from the 1930 201 to the 1981 504, including the 402 Darl’mat roadster and the 1935 401 Eclipse, the first production coupe/convertible.

The Talbot line-up will feature racing cars, including the T26 C driven by Louis Rosier at the 1948 24 Hours of Le Mans, ancestors such as the 1923 DC Torpedo, and the 1938 T150 C with Figoni bodywork, star of the Concours d’Elegance. Finally, the Cadillac line-up will present 70 years of the brand’s history through several famous models, such as the “King of the Belgians” model from 1910, the V16 Madam X from 1931, several models from the 1950s and 60s and in particular convertibles that are often exuberant with their oversized fins.

Many clubs will be present with the association of French Automobile Brand Clubs and will exhibit cars (Bugatti, Delage, Facel-Vega, Hotchkiss…). Let’s also mention the cars of the hill climbs of the 1960s and 1970s, the motorcycles of the French brand Dollar, or a dozen buses and coaches that crisscrossed the French roads. And many other vehicles to discover along the aisles!
