Intro
Summer is approaching, and with it vacations and travel. So here’s a first selection of exhibitions organized by automobile museums in Europe and the United States. Sport takes pride of place in several exhibitions, with F1 Ferrari in Monaco, the history of Alpine in Le Mans (France), a selection from Indianapolis at the Savoy Museum (USA) and 20th century sports cars and motorcycles in Valençay (France). At the Corvette Museum (USA), it’s all about sport, with an exhibition marking the anniversary of the collapse of part of the Dome floor. Autoworld in Brussels also celebrates sport with the 75th anniversary of Abarth, with a more Dolce Vita touch for the 125th anniversary of Fiat. The same combination at the Audrain Museum, with a summer car show featuring sport and leisure! In July, the traditional “Summer Special” newsletter will complete this first selection, which you will also find on the blog as they are published. The site continues to be updated and enriched, with the Fernando Alonso Museum (Oviedo, Spain) exhibiting many of the cars driven by the Spanish champion. F1, endurance, rally-raid, a career well spent in a beautiful setting. Not to be missed if you’re in north-west Spain.
