The Muse for National Automobile Museum – Schlumpf Collection

Following on from my collaboration with the FFVE (French Federation for vintage cars), I’d like to introduce you to a few automotive gems in the “Museum’s Muse” section, which highlights an emblematic car from a French automobile museum. For the National Automobile Museum – Schlumpf Collection, it had to be (obviously) a Bugatti! And what a Bugatti!

With the 57 SC Atalante, Bugatti created a magnificent 2-seater coupe, the archetype of the Grand Touring car: beautiful, powerful, sporty, efficient… “S” for the lowered chassis for roadholding and efficiency, “C” for the compressor that powers the Bugatti 8-cylinder in-line engine to deliver 200 horsepower!
