Museum of l’Aventure Peugeot, Sochaux, France
2 December 2022 – early January 2023
The PEUGEOT 9X8 HYBRID HYPERCAR marks Peugeot’s return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans and will aim for victory in 2023, the centenary year of the Le Mans event. The 9X8 comes to take up winter quarters on display at the Musée de L’Aventure Peugeot, from December 2, 2022 to the beginning of January 2023. An extremely rare opportunity to see the PEUGEOT 9X8 surrounded by its prestigious predecessors, the PEUGEOT 905 (winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1992 and 1993) and the PEUGEOT 908 (victorious in 2009) which are on permanent display at the Museum.
With the latest PEUGEOT 9X8 and the FIA WEC Endurance Hypercar programme, Peugeot is entering a fifth decade with the ambition of adding a victorious chapter to its great sporting adventure. The PEUGEOT 9X8 Hypercar is a completely new generation competition car with all-wheel drive. It is powered by a hybrid engine combining a 707 hp twin-turbo V6 at the rear and a 272 hp electric motor at the front.
Unveiled at the beginning of summer 2021, the PEUGEOT 9X8 debuted in endurance racing in 2022 to prepare for the 2023 World Endurance Championship (WEC) with the aim of the 100th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans next June.
