Intro
The site continues to expand with 3 new museums (see below), not to mention a very fine Belgian collection that I’ll take you on a tour of. With the arrival of spring, many museums will be reopening their doors and offering new exhibitions, so there’ll be plenty of news in the coming weeks. Keep checking the Automobile Museums blog for updates.
But there are already some great exhibitions on view, with the “From Dust to Glory” exhibition on rally icons at Autoworld Brussels (Belgium) and the history of Ferrari Supercars at the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena (Italy). In the United States, the Savoy Automobile Museum showcases some nuggets from local collectors. And here we turn the spotlight on another automotive legend, the Lamborghini Miura, muse of the Musée de Lohéac (France). I’m sorry to end on a sad note, with the passing of Jean Pierre Nylin, passionate and generous owner of the Vernon Museum (France), which has consequently closed its doors, but whose memory will live on our site.
Info on web site
3 new museums are now listed on the Automobile Museums website, reaching the 100-location mark. And 2 of these museums extend the list of countries listed, with Portugal and Morocco. Several other locations are on the waiting list and will be added soon, in addition to several updates. Stay tuned…
