Intro and news of the website

The content of the Automobile Museums website has just increased significantly, with 23 new museums. There are now 72 museums listed, spread over 13 countries.

2 countries have joined the list with the Hellenic Motor Museum in Greece, and several museums in the United States, including the National Corvette Museum, the California Automobile Museum (Sacramento), the Mullin Automotive Museum created by Peter Mullin to exhibit his collection, and the very recent Savoy Automobile Museum in Georgia. The choice for the US was to start with an eclectic selection of private collections, regional museums and manufacturers’ museums.

For Europe, about fifteen museums were added to the list, with a selection of private collections, regional and national museums and manufacturers’ museums: Alfa RomeoLamborghini, the National Automobile Museum of Turin in Italy, Aston Martin and the National Motor Museum of Beaulieu in England, Autoworld Brussels and Abarth Works in Belgium, the Gianadda Foundation in Switzerland.

New references also in France, with notably the musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris and the Aventure Michelin
