Intro
While many automobile museums close their doors over the winter period, those that remain open are active! In this newsletter, we take a look back at the Époqu’auto show held in Lyon (France) in November, a great success with almost 110,000 visitors over 3 days! In the United States, the National Corvette Museum (Bowling Green, USA) presents an exhibition linking the Corvette to pop culture, TV series, cinema and music… The Savoy Automobile Museum (Cartersville, USA) kept up the (very) sporty car theme with an exhibition of Supercars. This exhibition could also have included the Porsche Turbo, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary at the Porsche Museum (Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany). The Aventure Peugeot Museum (Sochaux, France) celebrates another anniversary, for a quieter car with the 806 family MPV. You’ll also find a presentation of the Autoworld museum (Brussels, Belgium) program for 2025. Last but not least, the Formula 1 exhibition in London has been extended to March 2025 in view of its success. The next newsletter will be published in January, but don’t forget to check out the Automobile Museums blog for the latest museum news!
