The Muse from Peugeot Aventure Museum

FFVE Blog

Continuing my collaboration with the FFVE (French Federation of Vintage Vehicles), I invite you to discover some automotive gems in the “Museum Muse” section, which highlights an iconic car from a French automotive museum. For the Peugeot Aventure Museum, the choice is the Peugeot 601D Eclipse, an elegant 6-cylinder coupe-convertible from 1935.

Peugeot was the first car manufacturer to offer coupe-convertible, introducing this design with the 301 and 601 models in the 1930s. The 601 “Eclipse” with its inline 6-cylinder engine is rare, as only 21 models were produced in this convertible-coupe version.
