With Colors, the Cars of Summer, the Audrain Automobile Museum is making the most of the summer with a colourful exhibition. Summers in Newport, a chic resort on the East Coast, are all about relaxing on the beaches, enjoying the ocean swell, attending Cars & Coffee and strolling along Ocean Drive.
For decades, sports cars, convertibles and vans have epitomised the pleasures of summer motoring. Hence the idea of bringing together a few models representative of this spirit, both old and very recent.
The selection is eclectic, including a 1940 Chevrolet Custom roadster, Fiat Topolino ‘Giardiniera’ or 600 ‘Jolly’, VW Transporter TII pick-up, Mercedes 280 SL or Triumph TR5 convertibles, or the very recent Porsche 911 GT3 RS or Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, and many more. An eclectic range to suit all tastes and automotive passions!
