24 Hours of Le Mans Museum, France
June 1st to July 2nd, 2023
The Grand Centenary Exhibition at the 24H of Le Mans Museum will bring together for 1 month an exceptional gallery of models that have marked or won the 24 Hours of Le Mans. From 1st of June to 2nd of July, the exhibition will cover the period from the opening of the centenary 24 Hours week to the Le Mans Classic weekend. The 24H Museum team has succeeded in an exceptional challenge, bringing together 86 cars that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, coming from the museum’s collections, other museums and manufacturers or private collectors.
65 of these cars actually won at Le Mans, and they will be accompanied by 21 cars that have marked the event in different capacities. The exhibition will immerse the visitor in a century of automotive history. From one decade to another, he will also discover the evolution of the track, the records and the major events that marked the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
If the list of cars presented has not yet been revealed, we can expect to see models from the major manufacturers who have triumphed over this century, Alpine-Renault, Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Ferrari, Ford, Jaguar, Matra, Peugeot, Porsche, Toyota, not to mention Rondeau, the local of the event … As the exhibition is not open, there are obviously no photos yet, and the photos in this article correspond to models probably presented. This article will evolve in the coming weeks when more information will be disclosed and photos of the exhibition available. Here the updated version on May 26th…
The 24H of Le Mans Museum is closed all the month of May to prepare this exhibition, since a large part of the cars usually exhibited must be stored to make room for the models of the exhibition and allow the preparation of the scenography.
