Intro
There are a few more great events to report this month. Part 2 of the Indianapolis exhibition at the Savoy Museum (Cartersville, Georgia, USA) features a dozen 500-mile winners from 1911 to 1990, Autoworld Bruxelles invites a dozen automotive icons which sublimate automotive design to create works of art, while Noemie Marmorat exhibits her automotive drawings in Levallois Perret (near Paris). Also in Paris, the Paris Car Show offers a number of themed exhibitions featuring rare and unique cars. In Germany, the Nationales Auto Museum honors Opel, one of the oldest German car companies, with a dozen cars retracing more than a century of history, from 1899 to 2019. In Belgium, Cady Cars (Ieper) offers an exceptional evening to celebrate 110 years of Maserati. Another very old brand is honored with Panhard at the Lorraine Automobile Museum.
Museum Muse
After racing cars, the Matra MS 650 of the Tour de France and the Rondeau M379 of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a new museum muse on the “Amis de la FFVE” website with the 1906 Clément-Bayard, muse of the Valençay Automobile Museum. Look here for history of this exceptional history (article in French)…
