Intro
This is the last newsletter of 2025; the next one will be published in January 2026. However, the blog will continue to be updated with announcements of new exhibitions opening in December, particularly for the end-of-year celebrations and holidays. I’m providing a detailed review of the Epoqu’auto show in Lyon, which continues to cement its position as one of the leading classic car shows year after year. Still on the subject of shows, the program for Retromobile Paris (January 28-February 1, 2026) is gradually being revealed. The themes of the exhibitions on display are varied, from the roots of automobile at the Matra Museum (Romorantin, France) to Youngtimers at the Mercedes Museum (Stuttgart, Germany), via the “outlaw” Canonball at the Savoy Automobile Museum (Cartersville, Georgia, USA), the Peugeot Adventure Museum, which is offering several events for the Christmas holidays, as well as celebrations of the anniversaries of several major models in its history and an exhibition on the theme of miniature cars and automotive-related toys at the National Automobile Museum (Mulhouse, France, starting December 20). The traveling Formula 1 exhibition continues its tour with the opening in Melbourne, Australia, on November 29, after Oberhausen, Germany, where it will remain open until February 1, 2026. Finally, let’s welcome the reopening of the Panini Collection, in a dedicated space now devoted to Maserati.
Info on web site
The Umberto Panini Maserati Collection has reopened in Modena, in a new, more spacious building, and is now exclusively dedicated to Maserati.
