The Hellenic Motor Museum is located in the heart of the city of Athens, a few minutes from the National Museum of Archaeology. It occupies more than 4000 m² on 3 floors in a building dedicated to the original style inspired by Art Deco architecture. Well lit, with unobstructed views, the Museum offers beautiful perspectives on the cars on display.

Cars at the Hellenic Motor Museum

The Hellenic Motor Museum exhibits between 110 and 120 cars permanently, depending on the size of the temporary exhibitions that complete the museum’s collection. If the majority of the models on display were produced after the2nd World War, the Hellenic Motor Museum presents some beautiful older pieces, such as an American La France or a Ford N from the early 20th century. The 20s/30s are represented by prestigious brands such as Bugatti, Rolls-Royce, Delage, Lincoln or a very rare BMW 328 with an all-aluminum body. For the post-war period, the museum exhibits mainly sports cars and luxury cars. The panel ranges from small Abarth to Aston Martin, Jaguar, Maserati and Ferrari, through more confidential brands such as Bristol, Facel Vega, Iso Rivolta or Jensen.

There are also some rare cars like an Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 (1947), an Alfa Romeo Montreal, a Lancia Appia Zagato body, a Lamborghini Espada. Finally, even if the vast majority of cars are European, there are some American: Chrysler, Ford T-Bird, or a Cadillac with an interior by Gucci.

Besides cars

The Hellenic Motor Museum also has an F1 simulator (check if the attraction is open due to sanitary conditions) accessible with a supplement of € 5.00. Ample parking (for a fee) is available, and the museum offers a shop and free WiFi. The museum is part of a complex in which there is also a restaurant and cinema room with the possibility of organizing private events. A few minutes walk away, you can also visit the National Museum of Archaeology.
