City hall, Place de la Republique, Levallois-Perret, France
Until October 26, 2024
Noemie Marmorat, aka Gasoline MAAB, exhibits her artwork at Levallois-Perret (near Paris) town hall. To her passion for drawing from an early age has been added a passion for motorcycles and cars, especially sport ones. Since 2018, she has devoted herself exclusively to her two passions as an illustrator in the motorsport’s world. She mainly uses ShinHanart markers, colored pencils and posca. Her drawing style is as close to reality as possible, playing on the interactions between light and materials. Her aim with each work is to make it difficult to distinguish between the drawing and the object.
On her website, Noemie offers a catalog of drawings of cars, motorcycles, a few planes and watches, and is thinking of adding boats to her panoply. AC, Alpine, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche… road and racing cars are among her inspirations. Noemie also creates bespoke models based on high-definition photos of the vehicle. The Levallois-Perret exhibition is an opportunity to discover the artist’s work through some thirty works presented in the peristyle of the Levallois-Perret town hall.
