As every year, the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum has planned a varied programme of events for the year 2024.
Backstage
The Backstage retrospectives are a series of meetings organized by the museum to explore different aspects of the brand’s history, drawing on the resources of the documentation center and first-hand accounts. The program is very varied, around iconic models such as the Giulietta Sprint, the Alfetta GT or the spiders, major races such as the DTM or the Carrera Panamericana, or the people who have contributed to writing the history of Alfa Romeo. Storage area
Every Sunday at 3 pm, it is possible to visit the storage areas where cars and materials from the Collezione Alfa Romeo, not normally exhibited, are kept: 90 minutes guided tour, by reservation only. Extra cost of €8 per person, purchasing the Alfa Romeo Museum ticket is mandatory, which still entitles you to access the museum spaces on the same day and participate in any scheduled events. Family Sunday
One Sunday a month (usually the 2nd Sunday of the month), the Alfa Roma Museum offers a special day dedicated to families. At 11:30 a.m., Juliet meets Romeo, a guided tour for children (and adults) with a touch of magic by Juliet herself, a figure so beloved that she has been nicknamed “the darling of Italy.” Celebrating her 70th birthday this year, she is looking forward to sharing fascinating stories about the legendary Alfa Romeo. At 3:30 p.m., it’s time for a treasure hunt: parents and children gather to solve riddles and follow mysterious clues, in pursuit of the treasure hidden in the museum. Program and registration…
Lights Off
Imagine the Alfa Romeo Museum being transformed as the public leaves, the doors close and darkness envelops every detail. The subdued light accentuates the graceful curves of the bodies, while in the silence you can almost imagine the roar of the engines coming to life. 2 times a year, at 6 p.m., the lights go out and the adventure begins. Guided only by the light of your smartphone or a flashlight, you’ll discover hidden details and captivating stories. Until midnight, you will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of a “night at the museum”. You can explore on your own or sign up for the special guided tour starting at 8 p.m. Program and registration…
Alfa Romeo Historical Archive opening
The Alfa Romeo Historical Archive, which holds documents, photos, videos and documents on the company’s history, will exceptionally open its doors to visitors from 1 to 3 March and on 27 October. Guided tours take place at 10:00, 11:30, 14:30 and 16:00. Program and registration…
Open Bonnets
For two days (23 and 24 November), the Museum presents itself to visitors in an unusual way, with open bonnets. The spotlight will not be on the bodies, but rather on what they hide: the chassis, the engines, the “heart” of the Alfa Romeos of all time. Everything that is usually invisible to the naked eye will be unveiled to fans over the course of this weekend. registration and information by email: info@museoalfaromeo.com
