The Unser Racing Museum pays tribute to the Unser family, a true dynasty of famous American drivers, including multiple winners of the Indianapolis 500. Brothers Bobby and Al Sr, with Al Jr, his son, are the best known and total 9 victories in this legendary race. Their father, uncles, other brothers, nephews, and Al III have driven and won in various categories. It is therefore this whole saga the Unser Racing Museum shows, from the first days of the Pike’s Peak race up to the oval and road circuits and there is something for all ages.
Cars
The Unser Racing Museum exhibits mainly racing cars, so essentially unique cars. This is particularly the case for several single-seaters the Unser’s have driven to victory in the 500 Miles. Other special cars, the museum presents the Pace cars that officiated at he Indy 500 for each of the victories of Bobby, Al Sr and Al Jr! These cars, Mustang, Corvette, Cadillac, Chrysler… are also representative of sports cars Made in USA.
The Unser Racing Museum also presents cars from several of other racing categories in the USA, whether through promotional or beginners formulas, sprint cars, go carts, NASCAR, and even soap boxes, offering a unique panorama of motor racing in the USA and its evolution over the decades.
In addition to the racing cars, the museum also exhibits some restored antique cars that complete the collection, all with a real concern for authenticity…
Besides cars
The Unser Racing Museum leverages modern technologies to educate and immerse the visitor in the exciting world of racing. Screens, videos, interactive kiosks for young and adults offer a fun and educational environment. A simulator also allows you to try your hand at racing.
