Reopening of the Umberto Panini Collection

Modena, Italy

The Umberto Panini Collection is once again open to the public. It is now housed in a purpose-built building near Modena airport and racetrack. The name has also changed slightly to the “Umberto Panini Maserati Collection,” with the focus now on the Trident brand. For the record, Maserati also has its headquarters and main factory in the city of Modena.

It is therefore a pleasure to see all these exceptional Maserati, many of which are unique models. The racing models on display include the 1934 6C/34, the Formula One world champion 250F, and the 420M Eldorado, as well as the Type 61 “Birdcage.” As for the small series models, the entire history of Maserati is retraced, from the 3500GT to the Bora with its mid-mounted V8 engine, via the Mistral and the Ghibli. One of the stars of the exhibition is the Alfieri concept car, developed by the Maserati style center and unveiled in 2014 to celebrate Maserati’s centenary.

A visit not to be missed if you are in the Modena area! You will find all the information you need to plan your visit on the Umberto Panini Maserati Collection presentation page.
