Intro

First of all, I’d like to wish you a very happy new year, full of the discoveries, pleasures and encounters that automotive passion allows. And I’d like to take this opportunity for some good news for the motoring world: 2 major European museums, Autoworld Brussels (Belgium) and the National Automobile Museum in Mulhouse (France) have announced record attendance figures for 2024. And as these 2 institutions are organizing some great exhibitions, both now and in the months to come, it’s quite possible that these records will be broken in 2025. Right now, Autoworld (Brussels, Belgium) is offering 2 parallel exhibitions, a major retrospective devoted to Maserati for its 110th anniversary, and a tribute to Jacky Ickx, who celebrated his 80th birthday on January 1. In Mulhouse (France), visitors can relive the great hours of rallying, with the discipline’s iconic cars, while in Le Mans (France), the 24 Hours Museum celebrates the 30th anniversary of McLaren’s victory in the 24 Hours. In the USA, the Savoy Museum offers 2 exhibitions, one on original post-war Japanese cars, and the other on Small American cars, a little-known aspect of the US auto industry. For its part, the Audrain Museum is showcasing the Magic of Monaco, a mecca of automotive sport and elegance. And I’d like to introduce you to a little-known site: the  Peralada Casle in Spain, owned by the founding family of Hispano-Suiza, which features this famous luxury brand on its tour.
