Epoqu’auto November 2024

Eurexpo Lyon, France

November 8-10, 2023

For 2024, the Club des 3A, organizer of the Epoqu’auto show, has once again put together an exceptional presentation. The show has grown with an additional hall for 95,000 m² of exhibition space and almost 900 exhibitors. 2 anniversaries, both 60 years old, will be celebrated, for the Mustang and for Matra. A dozen Mustang will be on display to celebrate the Pony Car’s 60th birthday, with some exceptional models such as a replica of the Fastback from the Bullitt movie, or the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally coupe, as well as other more extreme sports cars, including 2 Shelby GT 350 (1966 and 1969) and a 1969 Boss 302.

60 years for Matra, too, with an exhibition of 17 emblematic models, bringing together 3 facets of the brand: production models, concept cars and, of course, racing cars, starring the MS 80, F1 world champion with Jackie Stewart, and the MS 670, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

MG continues to celebrate its centenary, and will be exhibiting some 30 cars, including a number of jewels. Another exceptional stand will be dedicated to coachbuilder Bertone, designer of some of the world’s finest production cars, including the Lamborghini Miura. Production models, but above all several concept cars, unique by definition and rarely seen. Hotchkiss was a renowned manufacturer for 50 years, from 1904 to 1954, and retains a loyal following in the Hotchkiss Club. The brand is celebrating its 120th anniversary, a great opportunity for the club to present some twenty cars, including several rare and iconic models.

The Youngtimers section will be devoted in particular to Japanese cars. On the competition side, in addition to the Matra in the retrospective, a rally stand will be dedicated to Guy Fréquelin, driver and head of Citroën’s competition department (Opel Manta 400, Alpine A310 V6, Xsara WRC, ZX Rally-raid…). Autodiva, meanwhile, will be exhibiting a dozen F3 from 1964 to 1972: Alpine, March, Martini, Tecno… driven by such legendary drivers as Niki Lauda, Jackie Stewart, Emerson Fittipaldi, James Hunt, Patrick Depailler, Jacques Laffitte and Jean-Pierre Jaussaud.

Lyon-based manufacturers, motorcycles and utility vehicles will also be present, as well as clubs, dealers, specialists, accessory vendors and artists; for a visit rich in discoveries.
